Most Corrupt Members of Congress
Our politicians might be a crooked bunch of free-loading bastards,
but the Yankees as usual do it bigger and better!

Re: Most Corrupt Members of Congress
I'm reading a book at the moment entitled ...
The House of Bush
House of Saud.
It is very disturbing and goes back to the seventies.
Daddy Bush as head of CIA ...daddy Bush as vice president.
The lies and corruption and missuse of power are truly staggering.
It has very little to do with 911 but makes it a lot more obvious how it may have all been put together.
America is THE fascist state I'm afraid and theres no way round that.

The word ‘Fascism’ is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment, fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 Committee, the 1941 Committee, Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know what else... almost any English person would accept ‘bully’ as a synonym for ‘Fascist’. – George Orwell, What is Fascism?.
Richard Griffiths argued in 2005 that the term fascism is the "most misused, and over-used word of our times".

Mussolini is the man to ask.
He described fascism as being the joining of corporate and state power.
The corporate side runs the nationv ....the state side of it polices it.

Not really ...theres a sixty year gap.
But the idealism is the same whgere corporations and banks run the show while the government police it.
I think the whole western world has sunk into that situation.

No it isn't ya daft sod.
It's like saying ...we have aloud banks and corporations to take over policy making and what we know and think of as government ...is now the lap dog that polices it all on behalf of those banks and corporations.

Re: Most Corrupt Members of Congress
while I might agree that my own government has taken un capitalist steps to protect banks from bankruptcy I can also point out where my government has taken stupid anti business steps in favor of the greenies who want to protect F'ing 1" long minnows.
people here are pro business because its business that employs us...we get frustrated when our government does stupid things but to claim we are fascist?
I dont think so...theres too many other facets of fascism that dont match up
