The ppl of Ireland have ratified the Lisbon treaty by 67.1% after the politicians weren't happy with the rejection of the first vote, and politics is supposed to be democratic, yeah right. Rolling Eyes

I watched the first campaign very closely and it was just hysterical screeching from the No camp with the useless Yes camp unable to set out what the Lisbon treaty actually represents.

Surely if you have signed many agreements around Europe, Nice, Rome, Maastricht etc it is sensible to have them as one document and not 9 or 10. Ireland like UK and Denmark have opted out of the serious stuff so voting No would have been a ridiculous choice to make tbh.

This is the building of the new economic order.
European Union.
African union.
North American Union.
Asian Union.
With four currencies.
These things only happen by design.
To late to go back now.

So why do so many people still manage to believe they live in a democracy?
America preaches democracy but it's whole foundation was laid in a manner to prevent ...at all costs ...a democracy tking hold.
So they built a republic.

Some how the treaty of Rome ...was signed without anyone asking me or a few million other Europeans.
This democracy isn't ...full stop.
It's benign fascism.
So long as it's benign it aint bad ....

Cameron will only give a referendum if he gets in before the Lt is ratified, which is errr incredibly unlikely. When it is ratified before he gets in, he is knackered.

Still the only process which can allow departure from the EU is what exactly?

Answers on a postcard Laughing
