you must by law provide your name address and drivers licence number also your insurance details at the time of the incident! If the owner of the vehicle is not there then you must leave a contact number under the windshield wiper or you are commiting a criminal offence

The accusation is that she was using her mobile phone at the time (talking to Gordon????) if proved that could alter things.

The only exemption to that rule I can find, is if one is driving an invalid carriage, or if one states they will take the details into a Police Station within 5 days. scratch

A story, which has an injuction, was about a famous cleb doing just that having a minor crash, then fleeing stating they were 'frightened'.

I thought it was 5 days to a nominated Police Station.
But Harriet took 6 weeks apparently.
