Only if she didn't report it to the police and insurance company within 48 hours

you must by law provide your name address and drivers licence number also your insurance details at the time of the incident! The accusation is that she was using her mobile phone at the time (talking to Gordon????) if proved that could alter things.

The only exemption to that rule I can find, is if one is driving an invalid carriage, or if one states they will take the details into a Police Station within 5 days.

A story, which has an injuction, was about a famous cleb doing just that having a minor crash, then fleeing stating they were 'frightened'.
