I'm not very good at this sort of projection and always wonder where there is left to go of any great difference. Perhaps medically is where the real advancements will be made and this is a wonderful thing for mankind.
I was shocked and disappointed when Concorde was taken out of service. It's not very often we take a step back like that. Supersonic commercial flying was a great achievement and I would have dearly loved to fly on that aeroplane one day.

I think there's loads of things just waiting to be discovered our Vils, cos remeber mate, Penicillin was discovered by accident so who knows, and whilst i think teleportation might be possible in the next thousand years or so, i dont think time-travel will ever be a possibility cos whilst its theoretically possible, i just think the maths behind it are far too complex.

I never even learned long division Micky,
and yet I have some distinction as an inventor.
Who's to say that the secret of time travel will not be discovered
by some bloke down the pub doodling on the back of a cigarette packet?
and yet I have some distinction as an inventor.

You could be right mate, and i reckon that if i was any good at maths id have made a brilliant scientist or even a quantum physicist cos ive got a boundless imagination.
What have you invented our Vils.

I think new inventions or advancements in science and technology just need that spark or germ of an idea and the rest will follow.

It's more what I could have invented Micky.
I reckon that if I'd been born a couple of hundred years ago
I could have invented the Steam Engine.
(By watching my Mum's kettle)
And the ball point pen.
I would also have invented Flight,
by trying out various wing shapes in a (steam powered) wind tunnel
until I stumbled upon the sort of shape that we use today.
I've also invented the hover-toilet of course.

I invented the wheel, and I also discovered fire.
I'm hoping to retire soon as I've run out of ideas.
I'll leave the next hundred years to the young whippersnappers who discovered lager and created mayhem in town centres across the UK.

If he's down the pub he'll be too pissed to invent anything.
