joshua, i like him!! i'm not easily impressed IRL, so when i say i like someone, it means they really ARE genuinely nice.


the man's so earnest, it's not true. he is one of the few labour MPs who have not been tainted by any of the nu-labour or cross-party scandals.




though he is of jewish extraction, he was not accused of bias when he mediated between opposing sides in the middle east. he used his sublime negotiating skills during the meetings overseas.

no, honestly he is a clever chap academically, he got a first class honours degree in philosophy, politics and economics. in 1989 he took an S.M. degree in political science at MIT, where he was a 'Kennedy Scholar', it says in wiki.


and BTW US secretary of state hillary clinton also fell in love with him, saying he is vibrant, dashing and smart. so there!!

BTW the (Vogue) magazine interviewer was also full of admiration for milliband. and his wife is american. 3 yank ladies gushing over him!!

The 4th choice was to stay insular and at least we would save our £20million a day contribution to those crooks in the EU. But the cash would probabaly be spent on the taleban.

She is Baroness Whatsit from Wigan. No one has ever heard of her. She will be getting wages and perks far bigger than Gordon Brown's. For doing nothing. These EU posts are minted!! F*cking gravy train.

it's a very long story. european heads of states did not want Blair for the job, with all his iraq baggabe, and his perceived closeness to the yanks. and (IMO) blair did not exactly shine in his role as middle east mediatiator..

the EU leaders would have elected milliband, but he does not want the job. milliband is holding out for the 'leader of the labour party' post, which is a dead cert! he WILL be our next leader.

he is not going to grab the post off gordon yet, cos he expects gordon to lose this election. he will make a play for the job immediately after the election next may.

so now we have a Euro president with a face like a smacked arse, a belgian called Mr Rump(u)y. (the U is not pronounced.) never heard of him!

Rumpy was not even first choice to be president of his own country, he only got in (last christmas) cos the previous president of belgium was a thief who was caught with his hands in the till.


as president of belgium, rumpy barely holds together a fragile dutch-french coalition who are intent on devolution. how is he expected to unify 27 EU countries. i give up!
