the only sad thing about glamour modelling is that if the girl is a "vunerable" type, there is sometimes a cross-over into drugs or prostitution.

but if the girl is a strong AND smart cookie, she will quickly make her dosh (before her erm, "assets" vanish!!) then retire and set up her own business running a gift shop or a flower shop or whatever. a qualification in business studies would help, just like rocky said. well said rocky.

I think that's the latent message people who think it's harmless don't see. It's not being fuddy duddy at all, and I think it would hit home hard when it's not an academic discussion like this..but one's own daughter, who gets the message that striving hard to become a nurse, doctor, etc, is a waste of time when there are easier way to make it in life!

Like syl says and I agree, who would want to work in a McDonald's for minimum pay when there are easier ways to make lots more money!
