I don't care either if a woman makes her money via her physicality, it's the daily national newpaper aspect that I think is wrong. These sexually presented breasts are clear to see, on the bus, in the doctors waiting room, on a park bench,on the train, anywhere this paper is being read, quite unique in a sense, as these images don't generally appear in that manner! and it's sending all the wrong messages out to especially very young girls, to males and is disrespectful to the women around.
Why does it need to be there?

I dont like Jordon, because she comes across as very shallow and hard. I have said before, she is a BRILLIANT business woman. And why should'nt a woman get paid, to bare her breasts? If she feels comfortable to do that,..and If there is a market for it, and after almost 40 years, there still is.
I honestly dont see the harm Ty. Yes kids will see it, so what? My son grew up looking at me naked. It was never something to hide. He used to come and sit talking to me, while i bathed, and vice versa.
I was young when the first page 3's came out. Linda Lusardi, Sam Fox, loads of them. I never felt demeaned by seeing their photo's brandished about.

I don't see the value in the argument 'so what if there's a market for it' S yl, theres a 'market' for a lot of things but as a society we deem them unacceptable.
As I said, nor do I care about the financial aspect but you did give it as a reason for your standpoint.

Page 3 boobs are just the same as the adverts in there. A quick glimpse then carry on reading the news. Disinterest.

I don't read newspapers much anymore anyway. What with the TV and the Web , I don't see much point.

A newpaper has something for everyone. I dont read the sports pages, but I dont want them banned.

I was really dissapointed when they stopped showing 'Miss World' on mainstream TV.

I dont think anybody buys the paper specifically for the page 3 women, do they?

I personally wouldn't mind if it was banned, it serves no real purpose in this day and age. I dont buy the papers that have page 3 anyway, so it doesnt really affect me. I wouldn't like one of my kids to pick one up and open it on page 3.....

My son grew up regarding nudity as natural,not something to giggle about. When we first went abroad, and topless sunbathing was all around, he did'nt bat an eye.
I prefer that, to the furtive leering some boys, (and men) indulge in.
